Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, August 18, 2015.

Summary

Based on data recorded at the civil registry offices of a sample of 1,000 municipalities (covering nearly 70% of national mortality), the observed mortality during the first week of August (week 32, August 3–9, 2015) is comparable to the expected mortality for this period, both across all ages and by age group (Figures 1–3).618 deaths were electronically certified during week 33 (August 10–16, 2015), a decrease compared to the previous week (Figure 4).
