Summary

During the first three weeks of April, mortality recorded by participating civil registry offices (accounting for 70% of national mortality) returned to its usual fluctuations, though figures remained higher than expected for all age groups and age categories.

Electronic death reporting continued to stabilize during Week 17 (April 20–26, 2015), with 648 deaths reported electronically.
