Digital Technology in Sex Education: What Approaches? What Scientific Knowledge?

Information and communication technologies (ICT) open the door to new educational content with a wide range of features. They can complement traditional approaches to sex education or serve as the foundation for a standalone initiative, particularly when reaching underserved populations. The interactivity of digital tools appeals to young people, even though they ensure that privacy is protected. However, research shows mixed results regarding the effects of these tools on behavioral change.
