Since January 1, 2019, 561 cases of measles have been reported (compared to 1,532 cases during the same period in 2018), including 174 (31%) hospitalizations (10 in intensive care), 48 (9%) cases complicated by pneumonia, and 1 death (encephalitis).
91% of cases occurred in unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated individuals.
67 departments reported at least 1 case during the period.
