Renago 2004: Gonorrhea Cases on the Rise, Significant Increase in Strain Resistance to Ciprofloxacin

Established in 1986, the Renago network (National Gonococcus Network) is based on a network of volunteer microbiology laboratories located throughout mainland France. The objectives of this network are, on the one hand, to assess trends in gonococcal infections in France and, on the other hand, to study the susceptibility of Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) strains to six classes of antibiotics.
