Activity is rising sharply in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins. However, the proportion of hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency department is declining.
COVID-19
Activity is low and stable in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.
The level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater continues to rise.
Acute respiratory infections (severe cases admitted to intensive care)
Since Week 40, 25 severe cases of influenza, 12 of COVID-19, and 7 severe cases of RSV infection have been reported by intensive care units participating in surveillance, as well as 34 severe cases of bronchiolitis by the pediatric and neonatal intensive care network.
