For influenza/flu-like illness, the volume of cases (at SOS Médecins as well as in emergency departments) was on the rise in week 50, with levels higher than in previous years during the same period.

Regarding bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age, activity was increasing at SOS Médecins but decreasing in emergency departments.

Consequently:

• influenza and influenza-like illnesses: the region has entered the epidemic phase;

• bronchiolitis (under 1 year): second week in the pre-epidemic phase.
