Key Points
COVID-19: Deterioration in all health indicators
Increase in the regional testing rate;
Increase in the positivity rate across all departments and all age groups;
Sharp increase in the incidence rate across all departments and all age groups;
Significant increase in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations for suspected COVID-19;
Sharp rise in hospital indicators across the region (hospitalizations, intensive care). The peak in hospitalizations observed during the first wave has been exceeded;
Increase in reported cases in ESMS;
Very high number of reported clusters, particularly in the workplace.
Chikungunya, dengue, Zika
Since the start of surveillance, 84 confirmed cases of dengue fever—imported mainly from the French departments in the Americas—and 11 locally acquired cases have been reported. Additionally, one case of chikungunya imported from Cambodia has been reported.
