COVID-19

In Q4 2020, indicators continued to deteriorate:

  • incidence rates are rising;

  • slightly rising testing rates;

  • positive test rate on the rise;

  • COVID-19-related activity at the SOS Médecins association is slightly decreasing;

  • COVID-19-related activity in emergency departments remains stable;

  • slight decrease in the active caseload of conventional hospitalizations;

  • the active caseload for intensive care hospitalizations is stable;

  • no additional clusters in S45.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

One imported case has been reported in Corsica since the start of the enhanced surveillance season for chikungunya, dengue, and Zika (May 1).

Winter epidemics

  • Bronchiolitis: 2nd week of the outbreak

  • Influenza: no current outbreak

  • Acute gastroenteritis: low activity
