Since 2001, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, project leaders and funders have been working together and receiving training to develop a "shared culture" of evaluating health education initiatives. A CD-ROM, developed jointly, serves as a practical guide to help spread this shared culture as widely as possible throughout the region, with the aim of shifting from "monitoring" evaluation to "necessary" evaluation.
