Over the past week in the region:
The bronchiolitis outbreak peaked in week 52, and we have now seen a sharp decline in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations over the past two weeks.
The community outbreak of gastroenteritis has begun (based on data from SOS Médecins), and outbreaks of acute respiratory infections have been occurring in nursing homes for the past two weeks.
No significant increase in consultations for flu-like illness. However, three severe cases have been reported by intensive care units in the region since mid-December. Six isolates of influenza A virus at the Nantes University Hospital laboratory over the past two weeks.
