Heat Waves and Health in the Pays de la Loire Region: A Review of Summer 2023 [Infographic]
The Pays de la Loire region experienced two heat waves in 2023. The health impact included 48 SOS Médecins emergency calls, 103 visits to emergency rooms (69 of which resulted in hospitalization), and 53 heat-related deaths.
