Vaccination Campaign in Mayotte. Update as of July 2, 2018.

Highlights

  • During the sixth and final week of the campaign, six centers were reopened: 693 children were seen, and nearly 61% received a vaccination

  • During the campaign period from May 22 to June 30, 2018, 24,408 children were seen at one of the 39 vaccination centers: - 13,497 were vaccinated, representing 55% of those needing to update their vaccination status,- 25,134 vaccines were administered (9,012 Infanrix Hexa – 8,674 Priorix – 7,448 Prevenar)

  • The percentage of children requiring vaccination varied from one vaccination center to another, ranging from 29% to 71%

  • Attendance at vaccination centers was high throughout the campaign, especially on the first day of operation, but was lower during this sixth and final week of vaccination. Six non-serious adverse events following vaccination were reported by Santé publique France teams
