Epidemiological Situation
The conjunctivitis outbreak, which has been spreading on the island since the start of the school year in January, peaked in week 11 and has been declining since the first week of school vacation. Various health indicators show a decrease in visits to private practices. Nearly one in 10 residents of Réunion is estimated to have visited a general practitioner for conjunctivitis since the start of the outbreak.
