Epidemiological Situation

Data on emergency department activity and from hospital biological and medical testing laboratories indicate that the bronchiolitis epidemic has ended. The seasonal surge began in late December 2017 (Week 52/2017). The peak was reached in mid-February in S7/2018. For the 2017–2018 season, the bronchiolitis epidemic was spread out over time and lasted 17 weeks, 6 of which were above the epidemic threshold. It ended in late April (S16/2018).
