Surveillance of Acute Gastroenteritis in Réunion. Epidemiological Update as of October 31, 2014.

Epidemiological Situation

The gastroenteritis outbreak in Réunion, which began in late August, continues to decline in primary care and emergency departments but remains at levels that are still high for this time of year. Children aged 5 and under remain the most affected. In addition, rotavirus-positive samples continue to be identified, though the positivity rate is declining.
