Epidemiological Situation

Medical activity related to gastroenteritis has been declining since the beginning of October. The peak of the outbreak appears to have passed during the last week of September. However, the data remain above seasonal averages, and according to virological surveillance, rotavirus continues to circulate on the island. Children remain the most affected population.
