Epidemiological Situation

Since the beginning of 2013, an increase in the number of visits for suspected pertussis has been observed in emergency departments on Réunion. In addition, hospital laboratories on the island report an increase in PCR-confirmed cases of pertussis in 2013 compared to 2012.
