Epidemiological Situation

The southern winter is setting in on Réunion and, as every year, is accompanied by a resurgence of flu-like illnesses. Since the beginning of June, the number of consultations for flu-like illnesses among the island’s sentinel physicians and in emergency departments has been rising. Similarly, the number of isolated viruses is increasing with the co-circulation of three virus types: A(H1N1)pdm09, non-H1N1 A, and B.
