Epidemiological Situation

The seasonal influenza epidemic, caused primarily by the B virus, peaked in week 27. The monitored indicators show a decline in the epidemic since the week of July 7, at the start of the school holidays. Furthermore, since the last epidemiological update, two new patients have been hospitalized in intensive care for influenza, and three people have died in intensive care.
