Epidemiological Situation

The seasonal flu epidemic continues to decline for the third consecutive week. Monitored indicators show a decline in the epidemic to levels that remain slightly above seasonal averages. Type B and A (H1N1)pdm09 viruses continue to be identified. Additionally, since the last epidemiological update, one new patient has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit for influenza.
