Hospital indicators remained at a high level, with fluctuations in the number of new hospitalizations since S03-2022 and new intensive care admissions remaining stable. An increase in mortality has been observed since S01-2022 across all data sources available to Santé Publique France for analyzing mortality trends.

The Omicron variant is currently almost exclusively present in Réunion.
