Nine confirmed cases of Mpox have been reported in Mayotte since the beginning of 2026, including 6 locally acquired cases and 3 cases imported from Madagascar. Establishment of a local transmission chain and risk of wider spread of the virus

Influenza: End of the influenza epidemic for the 2025–2026 season
Bronchiolitis: RSV circulation remains intense and requires heightened vigilance. Mayotte remains in the epidemic phase for bronchiolitis
Mosquito-borne diseases
Chikungunya: a marked increase in chikungunya cases has been observed since week 06, with more than 40 cases per week over the past two weeks
Malaria: a marked decrease in imported malaria cases in week 06 of 2026 (3 cases), following the peak observed in week 04 of 2026.
