  • The number of clinically suggestive cases is declining in weeks 22 and 23, with 2,500 and 2,000 clinically suggestive cases, respectively.

  • The number of confirmed cases has also been declining since week 22.

  • The proportion of hospitalized cases remains higher in 2020 than in 2019.

  • The western and southern parts of the island each account for 42% of confirmed cases over the period, but the spread of cases remains very widespread.

  • Nearly all of the island’s municipalities (23/24) remain affected by viral circulation

  • The DENV1 serotype remains the overwhelming majority. DENV2 is now detected sporadically and ubiquitously, while DENV-3 is still detected in the east, in the north, and for the first time in the west.
