The number of clinically suggestive cases is declining in weeks 22 and 23, with 2,500 and 2,000 clinically suggestive cases, respectively.
The number of confirmed cases has also been declining since week 22.
The proportion of hospitalized cases remains higher in 2020 than in 2019.
The western and southern parts of the island each account for 42% of confirmed cases over the period, but the spread of cases remains very widespread.
Nearly all of the island’s municipalities (23/24) remain affected by viral circulation
The DENV1 serotype remains the overwhelming majority. DENV2 is now detected sporadically and ubiquitously, while DENV-3 is still detected in the east, in the north, and for the first time in the west.
