Epidemiological Situation

Despite a decrease in the number of cases, low-level circulation of the dengue virus persists in the municipality of Saint-Joseph. Furthermore, current conditions are particularly favorable for the vector, and viral circulation is likely to intensify and/or spread to other areas of the island in the coming weeks.The epidemiological situation corresponds to Alert Level 2A of the arbovirus control plan (“Identification of moderate indigenous viral circulation”).
