Chikungunya

• Four active outbreaks have been identified. Transmission is very active in the Etang Salé outbreak, and a new outbreak has emerged at “Ligne des 400.”

• The outbreaks in Grand Bassin and L’Ermitage did not report any new cases in S49 and S50 (data currently being consolidated): the situation could escalate into an epidemic in the coming weeks if transmission continues to intensify and spread geographically.

Dengue

• Sporadic cases localized in the south and west of the island.
