Public Health Surveillance in the Midi-Pyrénées Region. Epidemiological Update as of December 11, 2015.

The bronchiolitis outbreak in Midi-Pyrénées continues. In Midi-Pyrénées, the indicator tracking the bronchiolitis outbreak in hospital settings (Oscour® network) showed a marked increase, remaining above the statistical threshold defining an outbreak in the region for the second consecutive week. Virological data from Toulouse University Hospital confirm this trend, although the estimated indicator for private practice is decreasing in week 49. Regional indicators are presented on page 9 of this Epidemic Update. With the outbreak confirmed in the region, indicators could continue to rise in the coming weeks.
