Health Surveillance in Languedoc-Roussillon. Epidemiological Update as of April 24, 2015.

Key Points

  • Gastroenteritis: Emergency room visits are slightly above baseline levels in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, but have decreased significantly since week 13 of 2015.

  • Asthma: Emergency room visits in the region are trending downward, while they remain stable at the national level.

  • Allergies: no particular trend in the region, whereas SOS Médecins data at the national level clearly show that weeks 2015-15 and 16 were marked by numerous allergy diagnoses.
