COVID-19

  • In Occitanie, according to data available as of October 13, 2022, for week 40 of 2022, incidence and positivity rates were on the rise compared to the previous week: a positivity rate of 25.1% (+2.7 percentage points compared to week 39), incidence rate of 436 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (+24%), and testing rate of 1,740 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (+11%). Virological indicators were rising among those aged 15 and older and slightly decreasing among children.

  • The effective reproduction number (R) estimated from regional SI-DEP data through 10/08/2022 was 1.19 (1.17–1.20), stable compared to the previous week (1.17).

  • 312 confirmed cases residing in Occitanie have been reported by healthcare professionals since the first case occurred on 05/11/2022.
