Key Points

COVID-19

  • Oscour® Network: The number of cases suspected of COVID-19 remained stable and at a low level in week 14 of 2023 (< 50 per 10,000 consultations). At the regional level and across all age groups, the weekly numbers of new hospitalizations and admissions to critical care units rose slightly in week 14-2023 (175 and 28, respectively, versus 163 and 24 in week 13-2023; unconsolidated data).

  • SOS Médecins Network: After an upward trend, the number of cases involving suspected or confirmed COVID-19 is decreasing across all age groups (57 cases, or 153 per 10,000 consultations).

Influenza

  • End of the flu epidemic in Occitanie in week 10-2023 (duration: 14 weeks)

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • Oscour® Network: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 14-2023. Consultations across all age groups for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis remained stable compared to previous weeks.

  • SOS Médecins Network: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 14 of 2023. Procedures for all ages for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis were slightly higher compared to the previous week but generally stable over the past few weeks.
