Acute Respiratory Infections
In week 51 of 2025, indicators for acute respiratory infections (ARI) showed a marked increase in the community and in hospitals across all age groups.
Bronchiolitis (children under 1 year of age)
In week 51-2025, the Occitanie region was in its fourth epidemic week: syndromic indicators in hospitals as well as virological indicators continued to rise, while remaining relatively close to what was observed last season.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
The Occitanie region was in its second epidemic week during week 50 of 2025.
In week 51-2025, syndromic and virological indicators for influenza continued to rise (Table 4, Figures 7–13). An increase in syndromic indicators was observed across all age groups. This increase was observed earlier than in previous years.
COVID-19
In week 52 of 2025, indicators remained stable and at low levels in Occitanie.
