Heat Wave Watch in the Limousin Region. Update as of August 19, 2012

According to Météo-France, high temperatures will remain very high this Sunday afternoon, particularly from the central-east to the northeast, where temperatures will approach or even exceed 40 degrees. In the southwest, temperatures will remain steady or drop slightly compared to yesterday, mainly due to high clouds spilling over from Spain. In Limousin, maximum temperatures could reach 38°C or even 39°C across the region. Biometeorological indicators will be close to the thresholds in Corrèze and Haute-Vienne. Météo-France recommends maintaining an Orange alert for the region this Sunday. Emergency service activity shows no increase for August 18. There is a slight increase in the "heat" indicator on August 18 compared to August 17 (7 versus 6 occurrences of these diagnoses).
