Mortality:
The number of deaths recorded based on vital statistics data (all ages and those aged 75 and older) is consistent with the values typically observed during this period.

Emergency department visits by vulnerable populations
Activity is in line with expectations for those aged 75 and older and those under 1 year of age.

Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No notable situations since the beginning of April.

Virology and enterovirus
meningitis Few cases of enterovirus meningitis (Oscour®, Bordeaux University Hospital).

Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) Low
activity according to Oscour® and SOS Médecin in Aquitaine. Nationally, the number of AGE consultations in primary care and hospitals remains stable. The epidemic threshold was not exceeded at the national level during the 2013–2014 season.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses Low
influenza activity.

Bronchiolitis
Activity is stable in Aquitaine, below the epidemic threshold according to SOS Médecins and Oscour®; 38 children were treated on April 5–6 according to the AquiRespi network.

Carbon monoxide poisoning
Since September 2013, 51 incidents reported involving 112 people exposed and 77 transported to emergency rooms (France: 1,010 incidents, 2,999 exposed, 25 deaths).

School Absenteeism Overall
absenteeism rate slightly up. A few clusters of gastroenteritis reported.
