National outbreak in 2018 with 2,921 cases in France, including 3 deaths.

From January 1 through April 14, 2019, 710 cases, including 1 death: national update.

The median age of cases is 12 years. The highest incidence in 2018 was among children under 1 year of age.

Nearly 9 out of 10 measles cases occurred in unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated individuals; only 10% had received two doses of the vaccine.

In Normandy: 57 cases reported in 2018.

Vaccination coverage is increasing but remains insufficient.
