Health Surveillance of Acute Gastroenteritis in Upper and Lower Normandy. Update as of January 22, 2015.

Situation in Lower and Upper Normandy

Indicators tracked by Cire Normandie show that the regions of Lower Normandy and Upper Normandy reached an initial peak of acute gastroenteritis in week 2015-02. Activity related to acute gastroenteritis remains at high levels, and both regions remain in an epidemic situation. Data from the coming weeks will determine whether the decline in AGE-related activity, which began in week 2015-03, is confirmed. The current trend is consistent with patterns observed in these two regions at this time of year during previous seasonal epidemics.
