Epidemiological Situation

Indicators for acute gastroenteritis in the Basse-Normandie and Haute-Normandie regions, particularly for the SOS Médecins associations in both regions, have shown a steady increase since late October. Indicator values are high in week 52 of 2013, indicating that both regions of Normandy will soon reach their epidemic threshold. The current trend is consistent with patterns observed in these two regions at this time of year during previous epidemic seasons.
