In week 35, all indicators were on the rise for the fifth consecutive week but remained at low levels.

Indicators of emergency care use for suspected COVID-19 were on the rise:

  • The number of SOS Médecins calls was 177 in Week 35 (vs. 95 in Week 34, +86%) and accounted for 3.7% of total activity.

  • The number of hospital emergency room visits was 86 (vs. 81 in Week 34, +6.2%), primarily among those aged 65 and older. The hospitalization rate following emergency room visits remained stable and low (0.8 vs. 0.7 in Week 34).
