  • The current bronchiolitis outbreak in Normandy is stabilizing.

  • The level of activity and the number of visits to SOS Médecins were decreasing but remained high.

  • The RSV positivity rate among respiratory isolates analyzed in the laboratory was increasing.

COVID-19

  • Activity indicators for Covid-19 continued to rise in community settings (SOS Médecins) and in hospitals (emergency departments) for the third consecutive week.

  • The number of positive laboratory test results has remained stable over the past three weeks.

Pneumonia

  • Indicators in hospitals (emergency departments) and in community settings (SOS Médecins) have been rising for children under 15 for several weeks. Levels were higher than those observed over the past two years.

  • In addition, an increase in cases of Mycoplasma pneumoniae respiratory infections has been observed in France (see national news).

Influenza

  • Increase in indicators in community practice (SOS Médecins) and in the number of influenza viruses isolated by hospital laboratories.

  • These indicators remain at low levels.

Asthma

  • Emergency department activity was stable and at a high level, likely due to the various outbreaks of acute respiratory infections (ARI).
