Bronchiolitis

• The bronchiolitis outbreak continues to spread in Normandy, according to hospital indicators and data from the Normandy Bronchiolitis Network. However, indicators in urban areas (SOS Médecins) and in laboratories are beginning to decline.

Influenza and Flu-Like Illness

• The flu epidemic is spreading rapidly in the region. All indicators are at high levels and are rising at a rate comparable to last year’s. An initial impact on mortality is being observed. Co-circulation of influenza A H1N1 and H3N2 has been observed since the start of the epidemic.
