City-wide surveillance

  • SOS Médecins: 381 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 cases (S*, 587 in S-1*)

  • LABM (3 labs): 3.9% positive tests (Week S, 6.7% in Week S-1)

*S/S-1: for week S (April 27, 2020, to May 3, 2020) and week S-1 (April 20, 2020, to April 26, 2020)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • 1,780 cases, including 242 deaths reported as of May 5, 2020

Hospital surveillance

  • Oscour® Network: 336 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (Week S, 319 in Week S-1)

  • Hospital laboratories: 4.4% of tests positive (S, 5.7% in S-1)

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 54% of cases aged 65 and older, and 73% of cases with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • No excess mortality was observed in week 17 in Normandy
