2008 Health and Nutrition Barometer.
This third wave of the Health and Nutrition Barometer, conducted among a sample of 4,714 people aged 12 to 75, explores in detail what French people eat and drink; the times of day when they eat; the settings, structure, and social aspects of their meals; their purchasing behaviors; and their physical activity habits. It also examines their knowledge and perceptions regarding diet and physical activity. These various dimensions have also been analyzed from the perspective of social inequalities in health, with a focus on certain particularly vulnerable populations, such as those experiencing food insecurity. Seven regions are also the subject of a specific interregional analysis. This book is intended for all those involved in the field of nutrition: prevention specialists, health and social services professionals, researchers, as well as policymakers responsible for implementing public policies on diet and physical activity.
