• The incidence rate for acute diarrhea consultations among sentinel physicians increased very slightly compared to the previous week, rising from 81 to 84 consultations per 100,000 inhabitants.

COVID-19

• SOS Médecins: In Week 5, the number of cases for suspected COVID-19 decreased across all age groups. Case numbers remained very low.

• Emergency department visits: In S05, the number of visits for suspected COVID-19 remained stable. An increase was observed among children under 15 and a decrease among those aged 45–64.

• Clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in long-term care facilities: The number of ARI episodes diagnosed as COVID-19 reported by long-term care facilities (primarily nursing homes) remained low since late 2024. Most ARI episodes reported in long-term care facilities in recent weeks involved the influenza virus.

• SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: Detection levels in wastewater continued to decline in S05.
