Key points

Acute lower respiratory tract infections

  • Intense activity, which is stabilizing in emergency departments and primary care (all ages).

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • 11th week of the epidemic.

  • Decrease in activity across all age groups in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for the second consecutive week, while remaining at a high level.

  • Hospitalizations following emergency department visits have stabilized across all age groups.

  • Decrease in the influenza virus positivity rate at Lille University Hospital.

  • Decrease in the proportion of flu-related deaths recorded via electronic certification.

Bronchiolitis

  • Non-epidemic phase.

  • Activity remains stable in primary care and shows a slight increase in emergency departments and hospital admissions.

  • RSV positivity rate is declining but remains at a moderate level.

COVID-19

  • Low, stable activity at SOS Médecins and in emergency departments.
