The number of viruses causing influenza is increasing this week. The circulation of RSV continues to rise, while that of SARS-CoV-2 remains low.
Bronchiolitis
2nd week of the epidemic
Cases and activity for bronchiolitis are on the rise in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.
The number of isolated RSV cases has risen slightly this week. There has also been an increase in the number of enteroviruses and rhinoviruses.
Flu and flu-like illnesses
Transition to the pre-epidemic phase
Activity related to influenza and influenza-like illnesses is increasing in emergency departments, at SOS Médecins, and in private practice.
The detection rate of the influenza virus is rising sharply, primarily for influenza A.
COVID-19
Activity is low and stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins. There has been a slight increase in the number of hospitalizations.
