Key Points

Lower Respiratory Tract Infections (acute lower respiratory tract infections, all etiologies)

  • Activity continued to decline in emergency departments (visits and hospitalizations following visits) and at SOS Médecins. The incidence rate measured by the Sentinelles network also decreased.

Bronchiolitis (< 1 year)

  • No alert

  • Activity in the SOS Médecins network, as well as that recorded in emergency departments (visits and hospitalizations), fluctuated within the ranges observed in previous seasons.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • End of the epidemic

  • Widespread decline in all surveillance indicators: SOS Médecins, Sentinelles network, and emergency departments: activity levels are now low across all of mainland France.

COVID-19

  • Activity remained low and stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.
