Key points

Acute lower respiratory tract infections

  • Increased activity in urban areas at SOS Médecins and within the Sentinelles network, as well as in emergency departments.

Bronchiolitis (< 1 year)

  • Third week of the epidemic phase

  • Activity at SOS Médecins has stabilized at a level similar to the peak observed last season. In emergency departments, indicators continue to rise. The circulation of RSV continues to increase.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Second week of the epidemic phase

  • Activity is on the rise in private practice (SOS Médecins and Sentinelles networks) and in emergency departments, with an increase in the circulation of influenza viruses. The trend remains very similar to that observed last year.

COVID-19

  • Low activity, with a slight decrease at SOS Médecins.
