  • The DENV-2 serotype was the most commonly identified in S11 (56% DENV-2 among serotyped samples and 44% DENV-3).

  • Following a sharp increase in dengue virus circulation in French Guiana during January, circulation stabilized at a very high level for four weeks.

  • A decline in indicators has been observed since early March: the number of clinically suggestive cases has decreased by 40% since the first week of March.

Malaria

  • The number of malaria cases diagnosed in the healthcare system was moderate and stable over the past two weeks: in weeks 10 and 11, 21 cases of P. vivax, including 10 relapses, were recorded.
