Epidemiological Situation of Influenza in Martinique. Update as of February 27, 2012.

Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

In Martinique, a moderate increase in the number of visits for flu-like symptoms was recorded during the first 6 weeks of the year. Since mid-February, when school vacation began, these visits have been declining slightly. However, with the resumption of school and the return of vacationers who have been in mainland France—where an epidemic is currently raging—a more significant wave of flu-like symptoms cannot be ruled out in the coming days.
