Epidemiological Situation of Influenza in Martinique. Update as of April 23, 2015.

Situation Analysis

The number of suspected cases seen in private practice has been below the maximum seasonal expectations for three consecutive weeks. This trend is confirmed by the low level of influenza activity in the overall SOS Médecins data and the low number of visits for flu-like symptoms to pediatric emergency departments and hospitalizations within the MFME. The influenza epidemic is therefore over in Martinique.

Co-circulation of the Yamagata lineage of Influenza B, A/H3N2, and A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses was observed in Martinique during the 2014–2015 season.
