Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During the month of September, the circulation of the dengue virus in the municipality of Kourou continued, with the identification of new outbreaks as well as isolated cases.
The epidemiological situation in this area remains at Phase 2 of the Psage* dengue protocol: Outbreaks.

The epidemiological situation for dengue is stable in the rest of the territory and remains at Phase 1 of the Psage* dengue: Sporadic cases.
These levels were maintained by the Committee on Infectious and Emerging Diseases, which met on September 25, 2019.
